I used my Copeland Fund grant to travel back to Rwanda over Winter Break. After receiving research permission from the National Commission for the Fight Against Genocide (CNLG), I spent three weeks traveling to seven national genocide memorials. This digital exhibit presents the photo I took at these sites. I encourage the viewer to look at these sites as historical documents that tell traumatic stories through a constructed witness experience.
