Ntarama

Located just outside Kigali in the Bugesera district, the Ntarama National Genocide Memorial is one of two church memorials in the Nyamata sector. From April 14 to April 16, 1994 approximately 5,000 Tutsi perished at the Ntarama church. The memorial displays bones and preserves site damage inflicted by the perpetrators.
