Other Sites

During my Copeland research visit I traveled to several other Rwandan memorial and memory sites. I visited the three other national memorial sites: Bisesero, Gisozi, and Nyanza. There also exists many memorials on the local and district levels. The local memorials I visited included the Butare University memorial, the Kibuye memorial, and the Musanze memorial. I also visited the Habyarimana Presidential Palace and plane crash site.
